An Intergalactic Experience (lush review)

by - 06:00

Firstly, this bath bomb looks amazing as you can see from the image above!
The bath bomb itself looks like a previously launched bath bomb called shoot for the stars which was discontinued a while back. However, they may look similar but they are absolutely worlds apart. Shoot for the stars shared the scent of honey I washed the kids (another lush product), Intergalactic is a peppermint scented bath bomb. This product contains peppermint oil, vetivert oil, cedarwood oil and grapefruit oil. It has an interesting, fresh and minty fragrance, although the grapefruit peeks through and gives it that zingy citrus twist.

As soon as it was popped into the water, explosions of colour started to appear. Reminded me a little of fireworks. Such beautiful colours they are, it makes me feel relaxed just looking at the pastel array.
The cedarwood and vetivert add a very understated and woody aroma, but at the same time, it's very muted and understated. The peppermint and the grapefruit play the main role in this bath bomb. This bath bomb, as well as all lush products, are vegan, natural and cruelty-free which is another reason I love to support the company. The bath bomb retails for £3.95 and is now a personal favourite. It is perfect for the current season as it's a fresh summery fragrance
I didn't want to get out of this bath, it was just such a beautiful shade of midnight blue with a gold shimmer.
The peppermint oil is cooling, refreshing and invigorating. the grapefruit has a sweet citrus aroma, it is uplifting and refreshing (very good for toning the skin). Now the vetivert is soothing, grounded and relaxing. While the bath bomb is good for making, you feel grounded it's also a great one for a little uplift and a burst of energy. However, I would say take caution with the glitter as there is a lot. I was amazed how much they had packed inside. The best way to describe this bomb is ''a night’s sky with golden stars shimmering all the way through it''. It was just out of this world (no pun intended).

    1. This was such a refreshing bath bomb, I thinks it's down to the fact it contains grapefruit oil. Have you tried any lush products? If not I 100% recommend them they are all natural, vegan and cruelty free! Always a bonus when they don't test on animals and at the same time, leave your skin the smoothest! Thank you for your feedback and I hope you have a positive day!
